A social media campaign for Cheerio Publishing to promote Megan Barker’s compelling debut novel, Kit - an emotional, prose-poem exploring friendship, loss, and unconditional love.

Given how personal and intimate the book is to the author, I focused on using excerpts from the text, primarily through video, making the most of Maxine Peake’s narration. To maintain this sense of intimacy, I ensured static assets incorporated personal images shared by Megan. My main goal as creative lead was to communicate the novel’s deeply personal nature in the most sensitive and authentic way.

To give the Cheerio audience insight into the book’s journey, we created interview-based content featuring Megan, her agent, and a Cheerio team member, ensuring a varied and engaging campaign.
